Devil's Slide Project

TIC was awarded the contract for the complete mechanical installations for Holnam’s Devil Slide Project that included a production line capacity increase from 1,100 STPD to 2,100 STPD of clinker.

Major systems and areas of work included the raw material crushing, storage and reclaim, raw mill feed and silo, baghouse, kiln feed, pre-heater and pre-calciner, clinker transport and coal systems as well as grate cooler and alkali bypass.

• One 4 meter x 47 meter long KHD rotary kiln
• One 2.1 meter x 8.6 meter FMC apron feeder
• One 800 hp Prerov impact crusher
• One IKN grate cooler with roll crusher
• One 16 STPH Ryamond coal mill
• One six stage KHD pre-heater plus pre-calciner
• One 1,400 hp raw mill fan and 600 hp kiln I/O fan
• 2,150 cy of concrete
• 110 tons of structural steel
• 368 tons process ductwork
