TIC – The Industrial Company provides direct-hire construction services to traditional industrial markets across the United States. The same mission the original company had when it began more than 35 years ago. Those markets include power, mining/minerals, oil, gas and chemical, renewable energy, general services and maintenance, substation installations/high voltage testing for the chemical, power and refinery industries and marine/heavy civil and fabrication. TIC provides specialized services through its T. E. Ibberson Company district, whose experience expands over 130 years, specializing in design/build slip form installations and grain handling systems throughout the world.
TIC was the general subcontractor for the construction of Train 3 for Burlington Resource’s Lost Cabin Gas Plant., a sour gas sweetening facility located in Lost Cabin, Wyo. The plant consists of three (3) trains. The first was designed and constructed by Raytheon Engineers and Constructors. The second and third were both engineered by Washington Group, formerly Raytheon, and constructed by TIC.
TIC was awarded the contract for engineering, construction and procurement JV with Roberts & Schaefer. Scope of work consisted of surface expansion that included a new 2,000 TPH facility comprised of storage, screening, crushing, sampling and automated truck loading.
TIC was the general contractor for the installation of 10 miles of conveyor system including all associated concrete, structural, mechanical and E&I. TIC installed overland conveyor on 18% and 16% grades. This required careful precautions and best practices to keep the work safe.
Located in McKittrick, Calif., TIC provides maintenance and small capital projects as well as field repairs at all production facilities, water plants, steam plants, cogeneration and gas plants.
The Casey Canal Triple Barrel Covert, is a cast-in-place box culvert 6,170 linear feet long located in Savannah, Ga.
The Trout River Fender Systems Replacement project, located in Jacksonville, Fla., consisted of the demolition and replacement of the existing timber fender.
TIC was the general contractor for a 288 MW combined cycle power plant.
TIC was the general contractor for the design and construction of a 4 x 1, a 1,200 MW combined cycle power plant.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Tehachapi Modernization and Expansion Project. Major systems included raw material storage, handling, milling and blending, kiln, preheater tower, clinker cooling, storage and handling, finish grinding, cement loadout, coal/coke handling, and cement storage and handling.
TIC was awarded the contract for the construction of the Bald Mountain Expansion Project. Scope of work consisted of concrete, pre-engineered buildings and structural steel at the existing open pit gold mining facility.
