BAGDAD FLOTATION AND THICKENER PROJECT

Contracted to construct new site infrastructure and perform major upgrades to existing leaching circuits using the resin-in-leach (RIL) process. The project extended the life of the mine’s existing autoclave facilities by replacing the current process with a new innovative process. Major installed systems included tailings pumping, tailings thickening, RIL leaching train, elution building, electrowinning, water treatment and calcium ammonia and sulfate storage. The scope of work included structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping, insulation, heat trace, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, fire system, architectural finishes, building cladding and start-up/commissioning support.
